Trust & security

Trust, earned not asserted.

Cintrel reads a real brand's data and helps make real decisions, so trust is the product. Here is how it handles your data, your continuity, and your risk, with the same honesty as the rest of the site: what is in place today, and what is still planned.

01 Trust & safety

A human approves before anything ships.

Cintrel proposes and drafts. The operator decides. That boundary is the whole safety model, and it is not negotiable.

Human in the loop

You hold the wheel

Nothing is sent or changed on your business without your sign-off. Cintrel removes the blank page, not the judgment.

Confidence shown

Every call is scored

Each decision carries a confidence level and the evidence it leaned on, so you can weigh it, not just trust it.

Audit trail

Every read is logged

What Cintrel read, when, and why it surfaced a decision is recorded. Nothing happens in the dark.

02 Security posture

Encrypted, scoped, honest about the rest.

Cintrel connects to live business data, and treats it carefully. Here is what is in place, and what is honestly still ahead.

In transit and at rest

Encrypted

Connector data is encrypted in transit and at rest, held in US-East infrastructure.

Least privilege

Scoped, read-mostly access

Cintrel reads the connectors you choose, with scoped access, and does not become another system to maintain.

No cross-sale

Your data stays yours

We will not sell or share your data, and you can export it on demand at any time.

Honest about compliance

SOC 2, a third-party penetration test, and E&O insurance are not in place today. They are planned and trigger-gated as the customer base grows. We would rather tell you that than imply certifications we have not earned. The same honesty governs the whole status page.

03 Continuity & bus factor

One founder. Stated plainly, mitigated in writing.

The honest diligence answer is that single-founder risk is real today. Here is what Cintrel commits to in the agreement to address it.

Your data

Full export on demand

A complete, portable export of your data whenever you ask. No lock-in, no negotiation.

The code

Escrow for eligible tiers

Source code held in escrow for eligible tiers, released on pre-defined triggers.

The exit

Documented wind-down

A written wind-down with a data-export grace period for paying customers in the event of founder incapacitation.

04 Liability & IP

Capped, indemnified, in writing.

The boring legal layer, stated clearly so there are no surprises in diligence.

Liability

Per-tier cap

A liability cap set in the agreement, scaled to the tier, with carve-outs defined in the contract.

Intellectual property

IP indemnification

Cintrel provides intellectual-property indemnification on the product itself.

Ownership

Your data, your decisions

You own your data and the decisions you make. Cintrel reads your stack; it does not take ownership of it.

Straight answers

Does Cintrel act on my business on its own?
No. Cintrel proposes and drafts; a human approves before anything ships. It is read-mostly by design and nothing is sent or changed without your sign-off.
What access does Cintrel need?
Scoped, least-privilege, read-mostly access to the connectors you choose. It pulls the data it needs to reason and does not become another system you have to maintain. Every read is logged.
How is my data protected?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, held in US-East infrastructure. Access is scoped per connector and logged. We will not sell or share your data.
Are you SOC 2 certified?
Not today, and we will say so plainly. SOC 2, a third-party penetration test, and E&O insurance are planned and trigger-gated as the customer base grows, not in place yet. The honest current state is on the status page.
It is one founder. What happens if you get hit by a bus?
Fair question, and the honest answer is that single-founder risk is real today. The mitigations committed in writing: a full data export on demand, code escrow for eligible tiers, and a documented wind-down with an export grace period for paying customers.
Can I get my data out?
Yes, on demand, in a portable format, at any time. No lock-in. Cintrel reads your stack; your data stays yours.
What is the liability cap?
A per-tier liability cap is set in the agreement, with carve-outs, plus intellectual-property indemnification. The exact figures are in the contract and scale with the tier.
Where can I see what is actually live?
The status page lists every module and agent with an honest state: in production, running on the engine today, or planned. It is linked from everywhere on purpose.
